Don’t let your refrigerator get the best of you during quarantine! Since sadly opening and closing the fridge all day long doesn’t count as a tricep or bicep workout, here are some of the best ways to burn calories, get your endorphins flowing and get happier.
1. Sky Ting– This yoga studio’s signature style is purely uplifting and inspiring. That’s why when they were open I’d travel across NYC to their Tribeca studio. They currently offer a variety of online classes that leave you feeling completely zenned out. (free 7 day trial)
2. The Class– “A transformative workout of the body and mind.” Taryn’s class includes cardio, strength and food for the soul. You get out of your head and move from your heart. The closest workout there is to bliss. (free 14 day trial)
3. Tracy Anderson– Yes, the workout Queen of long and lean is offering a free 14 day trial.
4. Ryan Heffington– Wanting an immediate mood shift? The multi-Grammy nominated choreographer behind Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ offers free Instagram livestreams that are pure joy. You will dance, sweat and laugh your heart out. (currently free livestream/ donations for his LA studio appreciated)
5. Classpass– These more traditional workout videos from cardio to strength and plenty of options in between, are around 30 mins if you are non-committal like me! They also offer longer videos from some of the studios they work with. (currently free online)
6. Issac Boots– Celeb trainer to Kelly Ripa, Vanessa Hudgens and numerous other hot bodies of the world, Issac offers free classes every day via Instagram
7. Yoga with Adriene– This Youtube sensation offers an incredibly comprehensive catalog of yoga videos from ‘Yoga for Complete Beginners’ to videos that target specific needs like chronic back pain. Plus she’s adorable. 🙂
